The Techmo T-3 PU Castor is a general-to-medium-duty swivel castor with a polyurethane tyre on a powder-coated steel clamp bracket. Polyurethane occupies the performance space between hard rubber and steel-core wheels: it rolls more easily than rubber on smooth concrete, resists oils and mild chemicals that degrade natural and synthetic rubber, and absorbs minor floor impacts without the harshness of a nylon or cast-iron wheel. The powder-coated bracket gives corrosion resistance well above a plain steel finish, important in Assam's high humidity environment and in the damp cleaning environments of food plants and pharmaceutical storage areas.
