Pressure Gauge

A Bourdon-tube industrial dial pressure gauge reading 0–25 kg/cm² — essential for hydraulic lines, compressors, and process pipelines — stocked at Multi Trade Combines, Guwahati, price on request.

About the Industrial Pressure Gauge

The Bourdon-type dial pressure gauge is the workhorse instrument for monitoring gas and liquid pressure in industrial systems. Its all-mechanical sensing element — the curved Bourdon tube — deflects proportionally to the applied pressure and drives a pointer across a calibrated scale, giving an instant, readable indication without batteries or power supply.

The 0–25 kg/cm² range (roughly 0–25 bar or 0–360 psi) covers the typical working pressures of air compressors, hydraulic power packs, pneumatic systems, water-supply mains, and borewell pump delivery headers — the most common applications seen at fabrication shops, engineering workshops, and civil construction sites across Northeast India.

Borewell drillers in Assam and Meghalaya monitor well-casing pressure with gauges during airlift flushing. Fabrication workshops check welding-gas regulator outlet pressures. Auto-garages read tyre-inflation compressor lines. Tea estates monitor steam-supply pressure in drying machinery. PWD water-supply divisions fit gauges on pump outlets and header mains for leak detection and flow balancing. Electrical contractors specify them on motor-cooling water circuits for large transformer cooling systems.

We stock gauges in 63 mm and 100 mm dial sizes, with bottom-entry or back-entry G1/4 or G1/2 BSP connections. Glycerine-filled gauges — which damp needle vibration on pulsating compressor lines — are also available on request from Multi Trade Combines.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Bourdon-tube pressure gauge?

A Bourdon tube is a curved, hollow metallic tube sealed at one end. When internal pressure rises, the tube tries to straighten, moving a mechanical linkage connected to the needle on the dial face. It is a robust, calibration-stable design with no electronics — trusted for over 150 years on compressors, hydraulic lines, boilers, and process vessels. Most industrial gauges stocked at Multi Trade Combines are of this type.

What sizes and pressure ranges are available?

We stock Bourdon gauges in common industrial ranges: 0–10, 0–16, 0–25, and 0–100 kg/cm² with dial sizes typically 63 mm and 100 mm. Bottom-entry (axial) and back-entry (radial) connections are available. For gas-specific gauges — oxygen, acetylene, LPG — we carry dedicated cylinder regulators.
