The 'K' in MAB 100 K stands for Keyless — the drill's Weldon shank chuck tightens and releases annular cutters without the separate hex key (Allen key) that standard magnetic drill chucks require. A standard magnetic drill chuck uses two set screws on opposite sides of the Weldon shank flat; tightening requires inserting and turning a hex key in each screw alternately, which takes time and risks the key being lost on a busy fabrication site.
